The MamaBAse initiative seeks to reduce deaths in the largest population of vulnerable women and girls of reproductive age in Lagos State and eventually Nigeria; those who have no access to individual or family-based health insurance and typically have insufficient finances to obtain high quality health care within the private sector and may struggle with access to public healthcare for different reasons.
